In 1965, the Tennessee General Assembly passed legislation enabling the creation of what is today Delta Dental of Tennessee. Over the past 45 years, Delta Dental has been committed to advancing and promoting the improvement of oral health for all Tennesseans. As a not-for-profit company, we have always tried to give back to the communities that have supported us.

To commemorate our milestone, Delta Dental is celebrating 2010 with 45 years 45 grants, a community grant program to provide support for oral health and children's initiatives statewide. Oral health and children’s education organizations across the state were encouraged to apply for one of 45 grants, ranging from $500-$1,500. Grant recipients will be announced in August
