Its cost-management efforts and contractual agreements with dentists also allowed Delta Dental
to save groups and enrollees $5.8 billion in 2007.

Offering the services of over 125,000 dentists in 186,000 nationwide locations, the Delta Dental
Premier network is the country’s most extensive. Throughout the past year, the Delta Dental
system processed 76 million claims at an accuracy rate of 99 percent. This number comes out to
approximately 1.4 million claims processed weekly.
